"Noise cancelling: the 1000xm2 are my first nc pair of headphones i've ever purchased. if there're users in this subreddit who have never had a nc pair too let me say this: the headphones' nc cancels some noise of the outside world, but given the variety of sources for noise, there's still quite a bit audible when music you're listening atm is more quiet or paused."
